Plentiful

Who's writing to you

Friends first. Business partners second.

We met through a shared conviction: that women should have more from their money, and more from themselves. And we wanted to finally stop ranting about it over glasses of white wine and actually do something.

I started Plentiful because I'm tired of the money gaps.

The earning gap, the investing gap, the pension gap, and maybe the biggest one underneath all of them: the confidence gap. We live in societies run by money, and if you don't understand how it moves, how it works, how to make it work for you, you're at a disadvantage before you've even started. Women land on that side of the gap far too often, and it's not because we're bad with numbers. It's because nobody taught us the rules of the game.

I know this firsthand. I grew up in a scarcity-mindset, risk-averse family, and for a long stretch of my life I had zero consciousness of where money actually sat in mine. Not broke, not careless, just... absent from it. I didn't ask questions, didn't track it, didn't think it was mine to understand. Changing that didn't just change my bank account. It changed how I show up, what I believe I'm allowed to want, basically everything.

That's the thing people miss: money isn't the outcome. It's options.

It's the freedom to leave a job that's wrong for you, to say no, to build something of your own, to stop shrinking. That's what I want for the women who read Plentiful: the option to talk about money without shame, to earn more and be proud of it out loud, to make bigger statements with their lives instead of playing small and calling it modest.

I studied gender studies before I ended up here, and that lens never really left. Money issues are stressful, and they're not evenly distributed. I care about closing that gap, and I care about doing it with impact, not just good intentions.

So I founded Plentiful. Not another finance newsletter that talks down to you or dresses jargon up to sound impressive. Something sharper, warmer, a little irreverent. A place where women can feel safe talking about money with people who actually get it, where we can be smart about it and still have fun and joy while we're at it. That community, the one I've built for myself over the years, is the thing I want to hand to more women.

Money isn't the whole story. But it's a big part of getting to write your own. That's why we're here.

From the outside it might look like I've always had my finances figured out.

I studied finance and worked in banking. And like many women, I still delayed investing, telling myself I needed to know more first, keeping my money in savings and waiting for the right moment. It felt safer. It was also quietly frustrating.

Eventually I realised that waiting was holding me back. I still remember hesitating for a second before clicking "buy" on my first ETF. Had I really done enough research? It was a small step, and it made everything feel more possible. From that day, my confidence and momentum grew.

More than a decade later, I believe understanding your money is one of the most powerful tools you have to shape your life, whatever that looks like for you. Starting earlier helps. What matters most is simply starting.

What we believe

We want talking about money to be as normal as talking about the hottest dinner spot.

And more than talking: we want you investing. We're similar and very different. Both of us have a practical business sense and a creative side that wants out. We've had different money journeys, and we want to help you live your own.
